This page is the privacy policy for “gtasks”, a personal tool. gtasks is a program the site owner uses to read and write their own Google Tasks from a terminal.
Information collected
Only the site owner’s own Google Tasks (the task lists and their contents). The tool connects to the site owner’s account only.
Purpose of use
It is used only by the site owner, to read and write their own tasks and to email themselves a list of their unfinished tasks and notices about tasks whose scheduled time is near.
Sharing and storage
The information is not shared with third parties. Emails are sent only to the site owner’s own address. The contents of the tasks exist inside the site owner’s own Google account: in Google Tasks, in Gmail (the notification emails), and in Google Apps Script (the record of which tasks have already been notified: the date and the task ID). They are not stored outside the site owner’s Google account or in any non-Google service. The authorization data used on the computer is kept only on the site owner’s own computer.
